Dr. Nor Azliana Akmal Jamaludin obtained her Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Computer Science from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM), with a specialisation in Software Engineering. She is a member of Malaysian Software Engineering Interest Group and Rasch Measurement Malaysian Chapter committee. Recently, she has experienced and completed a leadership industrial attachment at AXIATA Group Berhad under the CEO@faculty Programme (CFP) at the Cybersecurity Department and mentored directly from the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO). The CFP is an initiative by the Higher Education Ministry under Shift 2 of the Malaysia Education Blueprint 2015-2025.Dr. Nor Azliana Akmal underwent the practical trainings at TNB Berhad (2000) as a trainee, Institute Technology Perisian (2003) as Trainee cum Software Developer, MRCB (2003) as a Trainee cum System Integrator, Allied Solution Sdn. Bhd (2004-2005) as System Engineer. She has an experience in leading the curriculum development initiatives in various academic programmes especially in the area of Master program in Software Engineering. While serving UNISEL since 2005, she has held administrative positions as Club Advisor, MQA Coordinator, UNISEL examination secretariat and committees to faculty business plan and strategic management and Head of Research and Development for FCSIT, UNISEL. In 2016, Dr. Nor Azliana Akmal joined Universiti Pertahanan Nasional Malaysia (UPNM).
